Selling your pony
Introduction Service
I speak with many people about selling ponies and understand the trepidation around openly advertising a golden pony; not only can it be a very laborious affair, when a pony proves very popular it can be difficult to select the right home from the sheer volume of responses. The same goes for selling a slightly less straightforward pony, where finding the right home who will love them, quirks and all, is just as important.
I have created the introduction service to take the leg work and stress out of advertising your pony.
How it works:
We ask initially that you complete the pony questionnaire
We will then give you a call to chat through your responses so we can get a really good feel for what kind of home would best suit your pony
We will collate all of your photos and videos then create a detailed profile on your pony ready for the introductions
We will take references on your pony from a relevant source – this could be a pony club instructor, yard manager or previous owner
Then your pony will be listed on the newsletter, we do this anonymously which allows us to focus on matching them to the right home
This is the important bit – we will carefully assess all the responses for their suitability then put forward to you a select number of potential homes we think would suit
This is where it is over to you – we will provide contact details of these prospective buyers and you will take the reins from here.
Cost
The introduction service fee is £250 to sell a pony.
When a pony has become part of the family, finding them a new home can be a heart-wrenching experience, as well as a hugely time-consuming and stressful process. I know there can be many balls to juggle during this period and can help make it as easy as possible.

As well as the services provided through the Introduction Service, I can also offer additional support including an assessment visit to help value your pony, creating videos and photos for advertising, managing all communications, negotiating the sale and arranging logistics.
